My new Mouse!
A look at the Kensington SlimBlade Media Remote/Mouse. In PC World it was £16.78 so a real bargain. The only downside is that the scrollball doesn't click, which I used a lot in my old mouse with a wheel. However, the whole thing feels fluid and beautiful. It got 2 design awards in 2008 and is very nice. I chose this over the Microsoft Arc Mouse because of price (£40 if I bought the Arc, £20 for this one) I would have also liked side buttons, which the Arc had (although reviews said they were extremely hard to reach) and also obviously a clickable ball. I was looking everywhere for a Philips Notebook Mouse which acted as a trackpad aswell as a desktop mouse, however it seems this is a USA-exclusive product at the moment. And I reckon it would cost in excess of £70. My next buy will be a £30 graphics tablet I saw in PC World, which I assume can act as a mouse too, as it had customisable options around the outside! (Not sure of Mac compatibility though)
